Ezidri

I love my ezidri - I use it a lot to prepare tramping meals. Having more mesh trays is great for drying smaller things like corn kernels, that otherwise tend to get caught or fall through the gaps in the standard trays.

With berry season in full swing and apples getting bird pecked, I stewed apples and added squished berries. Very lite oiling of solid sheet resulted in easy lifting of dried fruit leather, now stored in air-tight jar for eating later🤗

I can't seem to keep up with all the dehydrated produce. Have given lots away, and have people giving me produce to dry, on their behalf. Next thing is having enough storage jars!
Cucumber 'chips' will be next on the list of ' to-do'.

Great dehydrator. Electronic timer and not having to swap trays is very handy. Made some very tasty jerky and dried mushrooms and looking forwards to using it more.

I am new to this machine will learn more and hopefully I can get more use to it.

The perfect solution for an aging tramper that loves good food and is becoming very focused on reducing weight for multi day trips. The purchased packages [even the most expensive- and I have tried a few] do not provide the joy and satisfaction one longs for after a fabulous day of bashing about in the bush.

I've only had my FD1000 Ezi Dri dehydrator for a couple of weeks, and already made a bunch of biltong and jerky with it. I really like that it goes down to 30 degrees celcius, and has a 48 hour timer (where I can leave it to run for 2 days) - perfect for making biltong. Also, it's very handy to have the feature where it reverts to 30 degrees celcius after the set time - which is just what I need when making jerky at 70 degrees celcius.

Loving the fd1000, huge step up from my old dehydrator where I had to change the racks. Can do a huge amount in one go. Bought the apple peeler/slicer/corer as well what a game changer

I inherited a second hand ezidri many years ago and wore it out, after taking advantage of bumper crops from our orchard and veggie garden. I had no hesitation to purchase a new one and the main difference is the digital functions instead of manual. It, like it's predicessor is fabulous and wouldnt be without it. I look forward to many years of service from this unit as I had from the last. Cheer, Lois.

Purchased after trying 2 other types of dehydrators. One had the engine go. The other the shelves broke due to brittleness.
This product is solid. I bought extra trays and love the fact that the air circulates and there is no need to move trays to get uniform dehydration. Also love the ability to set the timer for automatic shut off.

Thank you for sending the trays. They were perfect and I was really pleased to be able to purchase new ones as the trays that I have need replacing which I will do a few at a time. Great quality.
